Q1: Why app's elements don't appear on storefront?

In case you've installed BOGO+, set up a campaign and put it on active but don't see the campaign popup showing on storefront, you probably want to check again if you've activated BOGO+ on your store theme. Starting from 2022, Shopify only allows app to show on storefront in case user have enabled the app from their theme.

| To activate app or check app activation on your theme, from your store admin please go to Themes (under Online store) > click on button "Customize" of the live theme > go to Theme settings > go to App embeds tab > turn on the toggle of our app which has the icon in green and yellow price tag.

Q2: Can BOGO+ work with cart drawer?

Yes. Although our app cannot auto detect and add elements in cart drawer like we can in cart page, we still can help BOGO+ to work with your cart drawer with custom coding work. So if you're using a cart drawer instead of the traditional cart page, please feel free to reach out to our support team via in-app chatbox to receive support regarding this matter.

Q3: Can BOGO+ work well with all Shopify themes?

Yes. As long as the theme supports theme app extensions, then BOGO+ can work perfectly fine with it.

Levels function in Buy X Get Y campaign

Introduction

We’ve learnt how to create a basic Buy X Get Y campaign in the previous article. However, our Buy X Get Y campaign can also allow you to create complicated campaigns with different quantity conditions and discount values.

To be more specific, we've set up a "Buy 2 Cacao Bake get 1 Barry Bucket at 50% OFF" campaign.

However, what if you want to set up another level "Buy 3 Cacao Bake get 1 Barry Bucket FREE" and vice versa.

You can easily do that with our BXGY multi-level feature.

What are the levels in the Buy X Get Y campaign?

The levels in a Buy X Get Y campaign present the tier of a buy x get y discount that you want to offer your customers.

For example, you want to upsell the product ‘Cacao Bake’ by giving away the product ‘Barry Bucket’. If you use a normal Buy X Get Y campaign, you can only set up 1 condition of Buy X Get Y, such as Buy 2 cacao bakes, get 1 barry bucket for free. However, with the functionality of creating multiple levels of condition for Buy X Get Y campaign, you can make the offer more attractive by adding the first level as a bait off then actually generate upselling order at the second level:

Set up campaign

Step 1: From Shopify admin, go to app dashboard > Choose to create campaign “Cart Conditional Discount”

Step 2:

Input the minimum threshold of cart value equals to “1”, so that customers can receive a gift with any items they add to cart
Then select the item that you want to offer with 100% to allow customers to claim their free gift

| Remember to set the offer limit. Otherwise, your customers can add the free gift to cart relentlessly.

What is BXGY?

BXGY is a promotion type. Customers need to buy a sufficient amount of a specific product in order to be eligible to receive a special offer.

For example: Buy 2 Cacao Bake get 1 Barry Bucket at 50% OFF

You can even set up multiple levels of BXGY with our app DISCOS.

For example: Buy 3 Cacao Bake get 1 Barry Bucket FREE

With multiple levels of BXGY, you can encourage the customers to buy even more and increase AOV.
