Notes| Run and revert tasks with duplicated products

Hi store owners,
We understand that some of your products might be in multiple collections, which leads to a case where you have one product in multiple Flash Sale or Price edit tasks. Please read carefully to understand how the product price will be changed in this case.

Run multiple tasks with duplicated products

You can certainly add duplicate items to different tasks. However, please note that the price of these items will be influenced only by the most recently created task. This means that if you create a task to increase the price and then another task to decrease the new price, these 2 tasks don't combine.

For eg: Product A with original price as $100
Product A is in Flash sale 1 (discount 50%), starting at 8AM today
Product A is in Price edit 1 increase by $20, starting at 11AM today
-> Product A will have the new price as the price of Price Edit 1 task: $120

Revert tasks containing duplicated products

Whenever one of the two tasks ends, the prices of the product will be reverted back to original.
For eg: Product A with original price as $100
Product A is in Flash sale 1 (discount 50%),and ends at 9PM today
Product A is in Price edit 1 increase by $20,and ends at 11PM today
-> Product A will be reverted from 9PM, back to the price of $100
