How to test notifications?
Hi store owners!
In this article, we will show you how to check a notification if it works to make sure that everything works effectively before going live for your customers.
Test the floating notification with the following steps:
After saving notification, go to your store. You can also click on Preview button to be automatically direct to storefront. Please note that it will only be displayed on the page that you select in “Display” section
Wait after delay time for notification to show
Check the following items to make sure settings are reflected correctly:
Layout and design, colors
Content and attributes
Close button and notification links
Notification timing

Test the discount notification with the following steps:

Discount code descriptions and make sure you discount code can be copied
Close button timer

After successfully setting up your flashing tab notification (this notification should show on your storefront after activate), you can test the notification with following steps:
Add a product to cart
Switch to another tab
The text on your browser tab will flash your messages to get customer attention as in the image below. Check following items to make sure settings are reflected correctly:
Icon
Message and related attributes
Interval time

3. Abandon cart flashing tab
After successfully setting up your flashing tab notification (this notification should show on your storefront after activate), you can test the notification with following steps:
