Snap COD: Quick Start Guide

Snap COD (Cash on Delivery) is a simple app that lets you offer customers the option to pay in cash when receiving their orders. The app gives you full control over how and when this payment method appears at checkout.

Why Use COD?

  • Great for markets where cash is still preferred
  • Helps increase trust with new customers
  • No technical setup required – simple and fast to configure

Key Features

✅ COD Configuration

Control when and how Cash on Delivery is available with flexible configuration options.

  • Shipping Rate Setup: Choose which shipping methods should allow COD. The app guides you through creating shipping rates in Shopify and lets you assign COD eligibility to each rate.
  • Linking Payment & Shipping: Enable linking to make sure COD is only shown when customers select specific shipping options (e.g., local delivery). This helps avoid confusion and prevents COD misuse.

🎯 COD Limit

Manually activate the Limit feature to control COD availability based on order amount, customer, location and product conditions. This gives you flexibility in when and how COD is shown.

🛡️ Fraud Detection

Reduce the risk of fake or abandoned orders. The app includes basic fraud detection logic to help identify suspicious behavior and limit COD misuse.

📈 Analytics

Track your COD performance directly from the app. The Analytics section gives you insights into total COD orders, COD conversion rate, and revenue earned.

Finishing onboarding and set up your first COD condition

Don't forget to follow the onboarding guide at the Dashboard to make sure the COD method works properly. Once you have finished it, it is time to create your first campaign:
