Set up Fixed bundle

This article will guide you on how to set up Fixed Bundle with SnapBundle.

What is Fixed bundle?

Fixed bundle is a collection of two or more products grouped together and sold as a single package, often at a discounted price compared to buying the items individually. The Fixed bundle feature of SnapBundle will help you design a bundle with predetermined products.

Create a Product Bundle

Step 1: From the app dashboard, select Fixed bundle

From the Dashboard of your app admin, choose "Show More" and select "Fixed Bundle"

Step 2: Set a name for your offer

Choose a distinct name for your Fixed bundle. This name is only for internal management and won't be shown to your customers

Step 3: Select products for your bundle

Select all the products you want to be included in your bundle. You can choose up to 8 products. The optimized number of product for a bundle is 2-3.

Step 3: Set up Bbundle details (Optional)

  1. Create a product page for the Fixed bundle

This bundle creates a product with its own product page

  1. Subscription

The Subscription option allows your customers to purchase products regularly with flexible plans and discounts.
Once enabled, you can:
  • Select the layout shown on the product page
  • Choose the position of the subscription box
  • Set the content displayed in the subscription section
There are two display options for this:
  • Make subscription option default: Highlight the subscription option as the default choice.
  • Allow multiple subscriptions: If enabled, all available subscription types (selling plans) will be shown on the storefront.

Please take note that:
  • You can enable this feature anytime, but the subscription template will only display if your store has at least 1 active subscription (selling plan).
  • If the subscription discount is applied, the bundle will not receive the discount for one-time purchases (Fixed Bundle Basic).

Step 5: Choose display widget

Our app offers 2 widget layouts to fit in different screen and different page of your store. You can choose between Vertical layout or Horizontal layout

  • The Vertical layout is for your product page only, in the product information section
  • The Horizontal layout can be shown on both Home page and Product page.

For widgets on product page, you can select if you would like to show the bundle on

  • Every product page
  • Or, Product page of bundle products only

Step 6: Set discount for your bundle

You can make your bundle more attractive with discount. There are 4 options:

  • Percentage off
  • Amount of each product in bundle
  • Bundle price
  • No discount given

Step 7: Discount combination

The bundle offer can also be combined with Shopify native discounts if you wish.

Step 8: Set a start date and end date (Optional)

Set an end date for your campaign in order to display the countdown timer.

Step 9: Save your configuration

After finalizing all settings, click "Save" button on top of the screen to let your offer go live. Make sure your app-embed is on in your theme then review the created bundle on your live store.

Display Fixed Bundle on the Checkout page (Shopify Plus only)

Fixed bundles can now be displayed directly on the checkout page. This feature can significantly boost store sales. When shoppers see the bundles, they are encouraged to add more products to their cart to qualify for the bundle offer.

Step 1: Enable display on the checkout page

From the Fixed Bundle settings page, select the Bundle at Checkout tab next to the Settings tab.

In the Checkout Component section, click the toggle to enable Bundle at Checkout.

Setup conditions :

By default, Bundle at Checkout will always appear without any conditions. To control the display, click the Display conditions dropdown and select Display by conditions. For example, you might create rules based on product vendor, product tag, or other criteria. If you want the bundle to display only when all conditions are satisfied, select All conditions passed. If just one condition is enough, select Any condition passed.

Step 2: Settings on the checkout page

Right above the Checkout Component section, you will see the Banner Information.

Click the Add to Checkout button to open the Shopify Checkout Editor page.

Within the Checkout layout sidebar, Select the “Bundle at Checkout” block and drag it to your desired position in the checkout flow.

Click the Save button in the top-right corner to apply your changes.

After saving, open your storefront’s Checkout page to confirm the Bundle at Checkout block appears as expected.
