Set up Volume offer

This article will guide you on how to set up Volume offer with SnapBundle.

What is a Volume Offer?

A volume discount is a price reduction offered to buyers who purchase in bulk quantities. Producers or sellers are able to reduce inventories and take advantage of economies of scale by allowing discounts to bulk buyers.

Create a Volume offer

Step 1: From the app dashboard, select Volume offer

From the Dashboard of your app admin, choose "Volume offer"

Step 2: Set a name for your offer

Choose a distinct name for your Volume offer. This name is only for internal management and won't be shown to your customers

Step 3: Select the right strategy

There are different Volume discount strategies you can opt for and our app offers all. Based on your need, you may choose between Product-based Volume discount or Mix-n-match Volume discount.

Example 10% off every 5 red shirts 10% off every 5 shirts 10% off every 5 shirts and pants

Step 4: Choose display widget

Our app offers 2 type of storefront widget, optimized for different needs and different type of Volume offer. You can choose between the Basic offer table or the Quantity selector table

  • Basic offer table is served to promote offer information with additional Add to cart button for quick add. You may as well remove the "Grab deal" button for less confusion and make it show as an informational table.
  • Quantity selector table provides additional function of adding/removing products within widget. You are able to select different variants as well.

Step 5: Set up offer tiers

There are 3 fields you will need to focus on for each tier:

  1. Quantity: Minimum quantity to get the discount
  2. Discount type: Discount based on percentage off or amount off
  3. Value of the discount: How much discount you give for this tier

You can set up maximum 8 tiers with our app

Other settings part will include additional customization logic/display for your Volume offer:

  • Set maximum quantity: give a cap for your Quantity break/Volume offer. Give discount when buying maximum 100 products only, instead of 100+ products
  • Show unit price: edit how prices are displaying on the table, to show price for each item or lumpsum price.

Step 6: Choose target product/collection

This step is to decide which product(s) will be eligible for this offer. You can apply for your whole store with "All products" option. If it is only for some products, you can select "Specific products" or "Specific collections"

After selecting targeted product(s), you can also customize WHO to see this offer with our app. At the moment, you can select it by tagging people who are eligible for Volume discount with Shopify native Customer tag feature.

Step 7: (Optional) Other settings

  • Stock count: Add more urgency to check out quickly
    • Tick checkbox to show stock count when your product is in low stock
    • You can set when to show stock count by filling in the text box under "Stock count show when less then"
  • Combine with Shopify discounts: Choose if you would like to combine the created offer with native Shopify discounts

Step 8: Schedule offer

Set the start date and end date for your offer for it to start/end automatically. If an end date is set, you will have the option to enable a countdown timer on your Volume table

Step 9: Save your configuration

After finalizing all settings, click "Save" button on top of the screen to let your offer go live. Make sure your app-embed is on in your theme then review the created offer on your live store.
