How to send delay notification?

Hello store owners!

This article will guide you on how to send delay notifications to your customers when their pre-order shipment date changes, using the Snap PreSale & BackOrder app

Step 1: Navigate to the PreOrder Management section

From your Shopify dashboard, go to Snap PreSale & BackOrder. Select Reports from the left-hand sidebar

Under PreOrder Management, you will see a list of recent orders, including customer details and payment statuses

Step 2: Find the order and send the delay notification

Locate the order that has been delayed by scrolling through the list or using the search bar to find the specific order number. Click on the order to view the details
( For example, we’re looking at Order #1011 with the product 14k Bloom Earrings )

Once the order details are open, you will see the list of items and their pre-order status. If a delay occurs, there will be a button labeled Send delay notification. Click on this button to notify the customer

Step 3: Confirm the email notification

After clicking the Send delay notification button, an email will automatically be sent to the customer informing them

By following these steps, you can easily notify your customers about any delays in their pre-ordered items, ensuring clear communication and a smooth shopping experience. Happy selling!
