Wi Flash Sale FAQs

  1. How will the prices be changed when I create a Price Edit task?

Answer: When you create a Price Edit task to increase or decrease product prices in your store, both the Price and the Compare-at-Price (CAP) will change according to the rule you set.
Example:
  • Product A: Price = $320
  • Product B: Price = $320, CAP = $500
  • Price Edit rule: Increase price by $100
Result:
  • Product A: New Price = $420
  • Product B: New Price = $420, CAP = $500

  1. How will the prices be changed when I create a Flash sale?

Answer: When you create a Flash Sale to decrease product prices in your store, the prices change depending on the field you choose.
If you choose the Price field, the discount will be calculated based on your original Price.
Example 1: Product without Compare-at-Price
  • Product A → Price: $320, CAP: N/A
  • Discounted A: After 50% discount → Price: $320 becomes $160, CAP: $320
Example 2: Product with Compare-at-Price
  • Product B → Price: $320, CAP: $500
  • After 50% discount → Price: $320 becomes $160, CAP: $320
  • Note: The old CAP ($500) will return after the Flash Sale ends.

If you choose the Compare-at-Price (CAP) field, the discount will be calculated based on your original CAP.
Example 3: Product without Compare-at-Price (a new cap will be added)
  • Product A → Price: $320, CAP: N/A
  • Discounted A: After 50% discount → Price: $320, CAP: $640 (a new CAP is added)
Example 4: Product with Compare-at-Price (discount calculated based on original CAP)
  • Product B → Price: $320, CAP: $500
  • After 50% discount → Price: $250, CAP: $500

  1. Is there any limit to the number of products per task?

Answer: There is no limit to the number of products per task. You can run unlimited products on a task by choosing "All collections".
However, more products mean more time to process. Please be patient while running tasks on a large number of products.

  1. The price changed incorrectly, what should I do?

Answer: If you encounter any errors while changing prices, please contact support immediately. A backup of your product prices was created when you installed our app, and we can help you restore it if the Shopify API or webhooks fail.
However, please note that we only have the version when you install the app. New products or later changes are not included in the backup.

  1. How does revert price work?

Answer: When a task ends, your product prices (both Price and Compare-at-Price) will be reverted either to the original price or the latest price edit, depending on your settings. If multiple tasks run on the same product, the same logic applies.
Example: Multiple Tasks on Product A
  1. Original price of Product A: $100
  2. Flash Sale 1 (50% discount): Price becomes $50
  3. Price Edit 1 (+$20): Price becomes $70
  4. Revert: The system restores Product A’s price to the original $100 (the value before the first task was created).

  1. Can multiple tasks run at the same time?

Answer: Yes, you can run multiple tasks at the same time, even if they apply to the same products or different products.

  1. Why can't I see the countdown timer in my store?

Answer: If you've installed SALE+ and choose to enable the countdown timer but cannot see it, please check if you've activated the SALE+ app embed on your store theme.
To activate the app, please go to Themes (under Online store) > click on the button "Customize" of the live theme > go to Theme settings > go to App embeds tab > turn on the toggle of our app which has the green and yellow icon.
