What is a Promotion Banner?
A promotion banner is a banner placed at the top of your store to notify customers about available promotions. It's a great way to ensure your shoppers and visitors are aware of ongoing promotions.
For example, you can customize a promotion banner to announce a 20% OFF sale for all products during the Christmas season. Additionally, you can link a URL to the banner that directs customers to a specific page when they click on it.
Set up Promotion Banner
Step 1: From the app menu, go to the Settings tab, and choose customize in Promotion banner section
Step 2: Turn on the status toggle to enable banner on storefront
Step 3: Customise the banner's look
- Banner text: the text or the content that appears on your banner. Try to make it informative, and engaging but concise at the same time (within 120 characters)
- Font size and Font color: where you can customize the text
- Banner height and Banner color: where you can customize the banner
Don't forget to check the preview for the most suitable adjustment.
Step 4: Set up Banner Behaviour
Setting Banner has the close button "X": This allows your visitors to close the banner or not
- Option Yes - Banner is closable
- Option No - Banner is always on
Setting Banner is clickable?: This relates to your intention to link a URL on the banner or not
- Option Yes - to link your banner with a URL. Enter the URL that you want to redirect customers to as in the image below
- Option No - to make the banner act as a simple notification on the store head that is not clickable
Step 5: Set up your schedule
Set promotional banners to appear at specific times and dates, ensuring timely and relevant promotions without manual updates.
Step 6: Review your banner on “Preview” and Save
Display on storefront
The Promotion banner will then get displayed on top of every pages of your store.
