Introduction: What is “Mix-n-Match by Quantity Box”?

Mix-n-Match by Quantity Box is a bundle campaign that allows customers to:

  • Choose any products they like from a list you set
  • As long as they pick the required number of items
  • They receive a special price or discount

Instead of selling fixed combos, you let customers build their own bundle — which feels more flexible and increases the chance they buy more.

Example:

  • Buy any 4 items → get 10% off
  • Buy any 6 items → get 20% off

This campaign is perfect for:

  • Increasing average order value (AOV)
  • Encouraging customers to add more items to unlock better deals
  • Stores with many similar or complementary products

Step-by-Step: How to set up a Mix-n-Match by Quantity Box Campaign

I. Create Mix-n-Match by Quantity Box offer


Step 1: Choose the Right Template


From the Snap Bundle app dashboard:

  1. Click Create Offer
  2. Select Mix-n-match by Quantity Box
  3. Click Select template


Step 2: Name Your Campaign


  • Enter a campaign name (for internal use only)
  • Example:

    Mix & Match Bundle – Pick Any  

This name helps you manage campaigns later.

Customers will not see this name.


Step 3: Set Up Quantity Boxes (The Most Important Step)


This step defines how many items customers must choose.

Add a Quantity Box

For each box, fill in:

  • Title

    What customers see

    Examples:

    • Box of 4
    • Pick 6 Items

      Required items

      The exact number of products customers must select

      Examples:

    • 4
    • 6

You can add multiple boxes in one campaign.

📌 Tip: More items = better deal → this encourages upselling.

Step 4: Choose Products for the Bundle


Decide which products customers can mix and match.

You can choose:

  • Specific products (manual selection)
  • Specific collections (recommended if you have many products)

Only products selected here will appear in the bundle builder.

📌 Tip: Products do not need the same price — the system handles it automatically.

Step 5: Choose Where the Bundle Appears


Under Display, choose one option:

  • Product page of products in bundle only

    (Recommended for a clean experience)

  • All product pages

    (More exposure, but less targeted)


Step 6: Set the Discount for Each Box


Choose how customers are rewarded when they reach the required quantity.

Available discount types:

  • Fixed price

    Example: Box of 4 = $100

    Percentage discount

    Example:

    • Box of 4 → 10% OFF
    • Box of 6 → 20% OFF
  • Amount off

    Example: $30 OFF

Each quantity box can have its own discount.

Step 7: Decide If Discounts Can Stack


Choose whether this bundle can combine with:

  • Product discounts
  • Order discounts
  • Shipping discounts

Step 8: Schedule the Campaign (Optional)


  • Set a start date and time
  • Optionally set an end date

Perfect for:

  • Flash sales
  • Seasonal promotions
  • Limited-time offers

Step 9: Save and Activate

Click Save → your campaign is live 🎉


II. How to view the buy box page

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online StorePages.
  2. You’ll find a page that was automatically created for your Buy Box offer.

    Click the eye icon to preview how it appears on your storefront


What Customers See on the Storefront

Customers will see:

  • A bundle builder popup or section
  • Clear quantity options (Box of 4, Box of 6, Box of 8)
  • Discount applied automatically when the box is complete

When they reach the required quantity, the Add Bundle to Cart button becomes active.
