What is Snap Cart Drawer?

Snap Cart Drawer is a customizable slide-out cart that helps merchants improve their customers' shopping experience and increase conversions.

It provides features such as:

How do I make the cart drawer appear on my storefront?

You need to enable Snap Cart Drawer in your Shopify theme.

To do this:

1. Open Snap Cart Drawer.
2. Click Enable Snap Cart Drawer.
3. Enable the App Embed block.
4. Click Save.

If the App Embed is disabled, the cart drawer will not appear on your storefront.

Does Snap Cart Drawer replace Shopify's default cart drawer?

Yes.

Once enabled, Snap Cart Drawer replaces your theme's default cart drawer experience with a customizable cart drawer.

The checkout process will still use Shopify's native checkout unless you configure a supported third-party checkout integration.

Multiple Carts & Markets

Can I create multiple cart drawers?

Yes.

Snap Cart Drawer allows you to create multiple cart drawers for different:

• Markets.
• Customer groups.
• Shopping experiences.

This is useful if you would like to provide different promotions or cart layouts for different customer segments.

Do I need to create my first cart manually?

No.

A default cart is automatically created when the app is installed.

You can begin customizing it immediately or create additional carts when needed.

Can I use different settings for different markets?

Yes.

You can create separate cart drawers and configure them differently for selected markets or customer groups.

Each cart can have its own:

• Layout.
• Features.
• Promotions.
• Reward settings.
• Upsell products.
• Design preferences.

Features & Customization

Can I customize the appearance of my cart drawer?

Yes.

You can customize:

• Templates.
• Colors.
• Fonts.
• Cart position.
• Cart width.
• Button styles.
• Individual feature designs.

Most cart features also provide their own customization options within their respective settings.

Can I add my own HTML content to the cart drawer?

Yes.

Using the Custom HTML feature, you can create one or multiple custom content blocks and place them anywhere within the cart drawer.

Custom HTML can be used for:

Can I move cart components to different positions?

Can customers go directly to checkout?

Yes.

You can configure the checkout button to:

• Redirect customers directly to Shopify Checkout.
• Redirect customers to the cart page.

Snap Cart Drawer also supports selected third-party checkout integrations.

Can customers apply discount codes inside the cart drawer?

Yes.

The Order Summary feature allows customers to:

• Apply discount codes.
• Review subtotal amounts.
• View their savings.
• Check applied discounts before checkout.

Can customers leave notes for their orders?

Yes.

Using Additional Note, customers can add special instructions to their orders directly from the cart drawer.

These notes will appear in the corresponding Shopify order for merchants to review.

Can I require customers to agree to my Terms & Conditions?

Yes.

The Confirmation Box feature allows you to require customers to check an agreement box before proceeding to checkout.

Customers will not be able to continue to checkout until the checkbox has been selected.
