How to Set Up the Add to Cart Button on the Product Page
Setting up the Add to Cart button on your product page using the Wi Add to Cart app is quick and easy. Follow the detailed step-by-step guide below to customize and display the button effectively.
Step 1: Create a New Add to Cart Button
In the dashboard, click on the Product ATC Button.
Choose the button type you want to display on the product page:
- Button with Price: Displays the product price directly on the Add to Cart button, helping customers make quick purchase decisions. This template is great for stores that want to emphasize affordability and pricing transparency.
- Button with Discount Badge: Includes a discount badge showing the percentage off based on the product price and compare-at-price. This template is highly effective for promotions, encouraging customers to take advantage of the deal. Please note that the discount badge is only shown on the products having Compare-at-price.
- Button with Icon: Enhances the visual appeal by adding an icon (such as a shopping cart or bag) next to the button text. This helps reinforce the action and improves customer engagement.
Step 2: Customize the Button Design
After selecting the button type, click Select to proceed to the customization options.
On the Design page, you can adjust the button's appearance with the following options:
- Modify Text & Font: Change button text, font style, and size.
- Adjust Colors: Match the button color with your brand theme.
- Border & Animation: Add rounded borders or apply animations to make the button more eye-catching.
- Size & Placement: Adjust button size and position for better visibility.
Step 3: Set Button Direction
Once you have customized the button appearance, you will need to define where the button will direct customers after clicking.
Go to the Direction page.
Choose one of the following redirect options:
- Theme Default: Follow the default action set by your Shopify theme.
- Go to Cart Page: Redirect customers to the cart page to review their orders.
- Go to Checkout Page: Send customers directly to the checkout for a faster purchase process.
After completing the setup, click Save to apply your changes.
