Introduction to Product page Coupon

Hello store owners!

This article will guide you on how to set up a coupon that displays on the Product Page of your store using Snap Coupon app

Part 1: How to set it up

In this instruction article, we will use this example of setting up a coupon for a product page

  1. Step 1: Navigate to "Create coupon"

You can create a coupon by clicking on the "Coupons" tab, and then selecting "Create coupon"

  1. Step 2: Fill in the coupon name

Enter the name of your coupon in this field. This name will be visible to customers on the product page, cart, and at checkout when the coupon is clipped

  1. Configure the coupon details
  • Applies to

Select the scope of the coupon. You can choose to apply it to:

    • All products
    • Specific products
    • Specific collections

  • Coupon condition

Please note that this condition will be calculated for selected products that you added in "the "Applies to" section.

  • Discount value

Choose the type of discount (Percentage or Fixed Amount)

Enter the discount value. For example, you can set a 10% discount

  • Coupon visibility:

Choose who can see the coupon:

    • Apply for all customers: All customers can see your product coupon on your storefront.
    • Show only for logged-in customers: The coupon will be displayed for only logged-in customers. For non-logged-in users, this coupon will not be visible or usable.
    • Customer tags: The coupon will be displayed to customers with your desired tags.

  • Coupon usage restriction
    • Limit the number of times this coupon can be used in total: This means setting a limit on how many times the coupon can be used by everyone in total.
    • Limit product quantity per order to use this coupon: This means setting a maximum number of products allowed in a single order to apply the coupon.
    • Limit to one use per customer: **This option is only available when the “Show only for logged-in customers†or ""Customer tags"" checkboxes are selected in the Coupon visibility section above. This option means that a customer can checkout with this coupon only one time.

  • Coupon schedule:

Set the start date and time for when the coupon will be active

Optionally, set an end date and time

  1. Preview and save the coupon

Check the Summary section to review the coupon details and use the Preview section to see how the coupon will look on the storefront

If everything is correct, click "Save" to create the coupon

Part 2: Displaying the coupon on the Product Page

Once set up, the coupon will be displayed on the Product Page, allowing customers to see and apply it directly from there
