Instructions to set up coupon combinations

This article will guide you on how to set up coupon combinations with discounts from Shopify or other discount apps.

1. Navigate to "Combinations Settings"

From the ""Coupons"" section, click on the ""Combinations"" button.

2. Allow all combinations

In the combination setup screen, if you tick all the boxes, your coupons can be combined with all other types of discounts.

3. Limit specific combinations

If you untick any of the options, your coupon cannot be combined with the discount types you have unticked. In this case, during checkout, customers will only receive the discount with the largest value from all the discounts available in your store.

4. Important notes

• Product coupons combine with product discount

  Regardless of your combination settings, Shopify will always apply the product discount with the highest value.

• Two-Sided Combinations:
  • For combinations to work properly, you must set them from both sides.
  • For example, if you want your coupon to combine with a shipping discount, you must enable the combination in both the coupon and the shipping discount settings. If you only set it from one side, the combination will not work, and your customers will only be able to use the discount with the largest value as per Shopify's default rules.
