Introduction to Floating notification - Visitor type

"Hello store owner!

This article will introduce you to the visitor notification. After reading the article, you should know how to properly set up your visit notification campaign.

1. What is visitor notification?

• Visitor notification is a pop-up that informs your customers of other visitors on site and the traffic coming to your store in a period of time.

• You can use this type of notification as a way to show social proof and your store popularity.

  2. How to set it up?

  Step 1: From the Notification page, choose the visitor notification tab


Step 2: Choose notification layout

There are 2 types of notifications you can choose: * Visitor list: Show who is visiting the site

 * Visitor count: Show number of site visitors in a period


Step 3: Edit content

In this tab, you will be able to customize content for your notification. There are different attributes you can use to make it more personalized. Visitor list

 Content attributes * Full name: Customers name * Country: Customer location * Product name: Name of the item * Price: Product price Data for these attributes can be imported from Shopify to upload manually with a CSV file Visitor count

 Content attributes * Visitor count: total visitor visiting (this number is showing based on your setup, not a real number) Timestamp * User will choose what to show in timestamp * The timestamp will show randomly around the time set

Step 4: Choose display where the discount notification will show

• Choose the landing page you want the discount code show
• Choose the position on screen you want the discount code to appear: bottom left, bottom right, top left, top right


Step 5: Set up notification logic

This is where you can adjust the display logic of the discount notification Timing * Delay time: the time the pop up shows after visiting a page * Display duration: how long the pop-up will show * Interval time: the time between 2 pop-ups (this can be randomized)


Step 6: Hit ""Save"" button to save your settings
