What is a Promotion Banner?

A promotion banner is a banner set up in the head of your store to notify customers about available promotions. We offer multiple types of banners that can cover every need you have. The Promotion banner will show on top of every page, except for the checkout page.

Type of Promotion banner

Banner with text

This is the most basic type of banner, to inform your customers of ongoing sales with short texts. To set it up, please follow these steps:

Step 1: From the app navigation menu, choose Settings tab and click on Customize in Promotion banner section

Step 2: Turn on the status toggle to enable banner on the storefront. In this step, you can also choose if the banner is dismissible or not

Step 3: Customise the banner's look in the Banner Design section

• Background color: where you can choose the main color of your banner
• Text size and Text color: where you can customise the text ** -
• Banner height: where you can customise the banner size

Step 4: Customise message content Edit the text or the content that appears on your banner. Try to make it informative, and engaging but concise at the same time (within 120 characters)

Don't forget to check the preview on the side for the most suitable adjustment.

Banner with timer

Step 1: Follow the same steps above. To enable timer on banner, check Enable schedule box

Step 2: Set a schedule for your banner. You can choose the date when the promotion banner shows up on your store (start date) and when you want it to disappear (end date) This date and time will be used to calculate the time on the countdown.

Step 3: Choose Enable timer

A timer will show in your preview

Step 4: Customise your timer

• Timer labels: where you can translate the timer labels as you wish
• Timer size: where you can adjust timer size
• Timer color: where you can choose the color of the timer elements

Banner with Call to action (CTA)

To redirect your customers to the sales page, consider adding a CTA button to your banner

Step 1: Follow the same step to set up a banner with text

Step 2: Choose Enable call to action

Step 3: Customize the button -

• Button text: where you can set up your CTA message
• Button text size: where you can adjust button size
• Button color: where you can change button background color
• Text color: where you can change text color

Step 4: Add link to button Copy a valid link to in the URL field

How to check

Check the preview on the side for the most suitable adjustment. Go to your store, the promotion banner will then be displayed on top of every page of your store. If you don't see the banner, make sure the app embed is turned on and the promotion banner is enabled in admin.
